NEWSFLASH: Richie Hawtin Announces His PLAYDifferently Presents Prototypes Tour

Today we are able to reveal that when Richie Hawtin next comes to our basement space on 26th March it will be as part of an international tour which sees him (amongst other world leading artists like DJ Tennis, Loco Dice and Joseph Capriati) road test a new piece of mixer hardware that has been born from a collaboration between Hawtin himself and revered product-developer Andy Rigby-Jones. The project comes with the backing of Allen & Heath whose mixers have been central to our space since our club's inception. So we are very much waiting in anticipation of what this new mixer project will bring to the performances from our guests in Room One on the night. More information on precisely what features this mixer will be offering to the professionals during the tour is to be released when Hawtin embarks on a talk with Resident Advisor at this year's SXSW festival later in the month.
