Look back on fabric's debut event at St. Paul's Cathedral: Love Hertz presents RY X featuring the London Contemporary Orchestra.
On Wednesday 13th September 2023, fabric presented a very special event at the iconic London building, St. Paul's Cathedral. The event brought GRAMMY-winning artist RY X to the stunning surrounds of the cathedral for a unique and one-off live performance featuring the London Contemporary Orchestra. The event sold out in less than 48 hours, and was a exciting venture for fabric & Love Hertz as we stepped beyond our Farringdon home for an whole new kind of electronic music performance.
As one of the most iconic and revered landmarks in London, St. Paul’s has witnessed numerous iconic events and momentous historic moments. Situated on Ludgate Hill, the highest point in the city, the Anglican cathedral has a rich history that spans centuries; a testament to architectural brilliance, and the historical significance of the city it calls home. On 13th September 2023, the historic venue played host to unique contemporary electronic music show, all brought to life by fabric and our new events platform specialising in the indie, ethereal and melodic, Love Hertz.
RY X, hailed for exceptional musicality and critically acclaimed releases, graced the stage and brought us a delivery of his signature blend of electronic and soulful sounds. The autumn show broke new ground as this historic setting was reimagined through contemporary and live electronica. RY X was joined by one of the UK's most innovative and respected ensembles, The London Contemporary Orchestra for the performance, following a stunning supporting set from Houndstooth releasing artist Hinako Omori.
