Shygirl announces fabric presents: Shygirl, her inclusion in fabric's prestigious presents series. To accompany the announcement, Shy releases exclusive single Making the Beast.
The release of fabric presents: Shygirl marks the beginning of fabric’s 25th-anniversary celebrations, with Shygirl leading the charge as the first of five artists to curate mixes throughout the year, each featuring the CD tins. These tins aim to showcase both current and heritage artists who are and continue to be culturally and musically relevant, having made their mark within the electronic landscape. fabric presents Shygirl sees the inclusion of extended versions of recent Club Shy tracks and a fabric exclusive nestled between tracks from artists Shy loves including forthcoming music from Danny Daze & Jonny From Space, and popular tracks from Eliza Rose, Florentino, Jacques Greene & Hudson Mohawke, promising an electrifying journey through Shygirl’s sonic landscape.
Making the Beast single and fabric presents: Shygirl announcement follows on from the release of Club Shy. The EP serves as an expansion of Shygirl’s signature club atmosphere and follows previously released singles “tell me,” "thicc," and "f@k€.” The project also includes focus single “mr. useless (ft. SG Lewis),” a mesmerizing dance track that highlights Shygirl’s clear vocals. Produced alongside Kingdom, Boys Noize, Karma Kid, Sega Bodega, and the aforementioned SG Lewis, Club Shy sees a new side to Shygirl as she leans into her deep-rooted affinity for club and electronic music whilst keeping true to her sultry persona. Club Shy features musicians across the musical landscape, including Empress Of, Cosha, and Lolo Zouaï. April 19th will see Shygirl bring Club Shy to London’s iconic fabric venue.
