Described by Erol Alkan in his recent Time Out interview as being one of his 'top talents,' Gesaffelstein is the French producer whos blend of hard edged techno works on textures and spaces with as much emphasis on atmosphere and composition as the drum beats.
"His EPs on Turbo really reminded me of the techno end of electro-clash from back in the day, like early Gigolo Records," Alkan embellished. "It didn't feel too much like nostalgia because I think there is enough of an original. Oh, and he's ridiculously good-looking - that helps doesn;t it? What a dish."
