After a cryptic billboard in East London appeared earlier this year and fuelled rumours of a new project, we finally confirmed the news that split-single EP from Kode9 and Burial was on the way. Today [21/07/23], after a world premiere of Burial’s contribution aired on Mary Anne Hobbs' BBC Radio 6 Music show, the day has finally come. The new split-single EP is out now via our imprint for original new music.
The release comes five years after Kode9 & Burial's 2018 FABRICLIVE 100 mix, the final instalment in fabric’s long-running series in its previous form. Kode9 and Burial’s last solo releases were 2022's Astro-Darien and Streetlands EPs respectively.
As well as being available on digital platforms, out today is the Limited Edition Vinyl version of the EP, available in clear, black, and silver special editions. In addition to purchasing these special collector's items, fans can order a special bundle that includes a Limited Edition fabric Originals x Kode9 + Burial T-shirt. T-shirts are also available to purchase independently.
