General FAQs

Can I bring flags into the club?

Flags are not permitted on the dance floor to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for everyone. If a staff member asks you to put your flag away, please respect their request to help maintain a positive atmosphere.

If I have an Advance Ticket, when should I arrive?

Please check your ticket for the specified entry time, as some tickets have different entry slots. Regardless of your ticket type, the last entry is always 1 hour before the event ends. Make sure to arrive on time to avoid any issues at the door.

What should I do if I feel unwell while visiting fabric?

If you feel unwell, notify a member of staff right away. They won’t judge you and are trained to help. If needed, they’ll refer you to our medic team. You won’t face a ban for reporting that you’re unwell—your health and safety are our priority.

What if I need to take some time out during the night?

The club has several areas where you can take a break during the night. There's comfortable seating opposite the sunken bar (between Room 1 and Room 2) if you need a breather. The smoking area is also open all night, providing a spot to get some fresh air. When open, the mezzanine above Room 1 offers a quieter space with additional seating for when you need a break.

Is there a dress code?

We encourage guests to express themselves and dress as they like, but we reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone whose attire we feel may not be conducive to the vibe of the night. Please note that business suits, flags, and glow wear are not permitted.

What time do you open?

Our regular club nights on Fridays and Saturdays run from 11 PM to 6 AM, though we occasionally host extended parties that may go on longer. On Sundays, we’re open from 11 PM to 4 AM.

We may also host external events on weekdays, and the opening times for those will be specified on the event listing. Be sure to check the details for each event

Is there a paying guest list?

We do not offer a paying guest list. However, by becoming a fabricfirst member, you can enjoy perks such as entry through the guest list entrance, along with other exclusive benefits.

So what's fabric's music policy?

We take pride in showcasing a diverse range of music throughout the weekend. Fridays feature a variety of electronic styles, while Saturdays are primarily dedicated to house, techno, and electro.

Our FABRICLIVE events on Fridays highlight UK sounds, including drum and bass, UK garage, dubstep, and other bass-oriented music genres.

Sundays are reserved for our weekly "Come As You Are" party, where we present forward-thinking house and techno, along with everything in between.

Can you give me directions to fabric?

fabric is at 77a Charterhouse Street, London, EC1M 6HJ. The nearest tube station is Farringdon (Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, and Circle Lines), and Chancery Lane (Central Line) is also nearby and runs 24 hours on weekends.

From the station, walk towards Smithfield Market and take a right onto Charterhouse Street. You’ll see our entrance from there.

How do I apply for a job at fabric?

What are the nearest hotels?
We have a few hotels situated close to fabric. Most are within walking distance and a few are a bit further out. To view hotels within the fabric area take a look at our travel page.
I've lost something in the club; do you have a lost property dept?
If you lose something at fabric, you can call the office to check if your item is on the found property list. If your item is on the list or you left something in the cloakroom and still have the ticket you can collect at the following times; Tuesdays: 4pm-8pm Fri, Sat & Sun: 10pm-11pm For all enquires contact tel; 0207 336 8898 - Option 1, leaving a message stating what you lost and when. All enquires are only dealt with on a Tuesday during the above hours so please be patient in receiving a reply. Or email cloakroom@fabriclondon.com with the same details. If your items are not in the department you may not be contacted. We only hold onto items for 4 weeks. After this time the items will be disposed of.
Am I allowed to take pictures in the club?

We have a zero-photo policy to ensure everyone enjoys themselves freely and respects privacy - stickers will be placed on phone cameras upon entry. Those not adhering to this policy may be removed from the club.

Can you give me a DJ's agent information?
For security reasons, we are not allowed to give out these details. We advise you search the internet for their booking agent's info or their management team who will be able to help you further with your enquiry. Also check the inlays of their CDs where this information is often provided.
I am a music lover with a disability and need my PA to comer with me when I go out. What's the deal with tickets for my PA?

We offer a free ticket for your carer. Please email info@fabriclondon.com to arrange this in advance, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

What is the minimum age to enter fabric?

You must be 19+ to enter fabric (unless stated otherwise for external events), and it's essential to bring valid ID. No ID means no entry.

We accept a valid passport, foreign national ID cards, driving licenses, or Home Office-approved PASS holograms as identification. Your ID will be scanned as a condition of entry.

Is fabric wheelchair friendly?

Yes, fabric is wheelchair friendly! We have ramps for easy access, but our lift can be temperamental, so please call us at [your phone number] or email us at [your email address] to check if it’s working before your visit. Our staff will be more than happy to accommodate you, so feel free to reach out to make arrangements.

Can I get priority entry into the club without buying a ticket?

What is fabric's search policy?

Entry to fabric requires a mandatory search. If you do not consent, you will not be allowed to enter.

All guests and bags will be thoroughly searched and screened through metal detectors. Additional searches may occur inside the venue, either randomly or in response to incidents. Refusal to comply will lead to detention and police involvement.

fabric enforces a zero-tolerance drug policy. Anyone found with illegal drugs will be banned and reported to the police. Additional measures, including drug detection methods, may be implemented during your visit. For safety, all searches are conducted under full HD CCTV with audio recording.

Can you tell me the set times for the DJs?

We’re unable to confirm set times until the night of the event. Occasionally, we share these exclusively via our community WhatsApp and Telegram— join here for WhatsApp and here for Telegram.

Set times will also be posted around the club on the event night.

How do I get a student discount?

Student tickets can be purchased via Resident Advisor and on the door on the night of the event. We accept valid UK student photo ID which will be checked on entry. Please note there are restrictions on what institutions we extend this offer to, you can enquire on the door whether a discount will be valid.

Who deals with table booking, private hire and coach booking?

Please note: we do not allow stag nights into the venue.

Can I bring my prescription medication into the club?
Yes you can. However, all medication and equipment will need to be registered with our on-site medics provided it is in the manufacturer's original packaging. We strongly encourage that all medication and medical equipment is stored with our on-site medics wherever possible, and that you use our medic room when administering any medication. The medics will show you the area we use exclusively for our medics and any member of fabric staff or security can escort you to the medic room should you need to use the area.
Someone is making me feel uncomfortable. Who should I speak to?

We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and are part of Hollaback’s Good Night Out campaign. If you feel uncomfortable, please speak to any member of staff—they are trained to assist you.

What is the best way to travel home from fabric?

Chancery Lane tube station, just a short walk away, operates the 24-hour Central Line on Friday and Saturday nights. Many buses in the area also run all night.

Please ensure you have an exit plan beforehand, as we cannot allow loitering around the entrance for operational reasons. We recommend walking a bit away from the club to secure shorter taxi or Uber wait times.

Be mindful of opportunistic thieves in the area—keep your phone and belongings secure.

What is fabric's drug policy?
fabric operates a zero tolerance policy to drugs. Anyone found with illegal drugs will be banned from the venue and reported to the police. Furthermore, anyone found to be asking for drugs or offering drugs will also be banned for life. We will have drug disposal bins in the queues so you can deposit any drugs you may have with you.
How does fabric use my data?

When you enter fabric, we scan your ID details into our system to comply with our Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003. This information may be stored indefinitely.

What is fabric using the data for?

Your data is only used for incident investigations, police requests, or subject access requests from the data subject. It is not shared with third parties.

Your rights

Entry requires data scanning, and we cannot allow entry if you refuse. We process your data in line with GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, but due to our licence obligations, withdrawal of consent or erasure requests cannot be processed.

I want to come to an upcoming event. How can I get tickets?

All our events are listed in the "What’s On?" section of our website and on Resident Advisor. Please purchase tickets only from verified ticket providers.

To prevent touting, ticket barcodes are sent via the RA Guide App or members' login area 48 hours before the event. For sold-out events, Resident Advisor offers a resale service.

I didn’t buy an advance ticket. Can I still get tickets on the door?

Yes, we hold back some tickets for door sales. If advance tickets are sold out, more will be available from 11pm when the party starts. We recommend arriving early to avoid long queues. Please note that re-entry is not allowed, so you can’t buy tickets and return later. To skip the queue, consider joining fabricfirst.
