What’s so great about the fabricfirst membership?

CLUB: By becoming a Club Member, you have access to our Discount Advanced Members Tickets priced at the lowest tier, or you can turn up spontaneously to any fabric club event to get £10 off the door price. You can also always bring a guest into the priority line to keep you company.  

Each time you attend fabric for an event you'll receive priority entry, meaning you'll be busy raving whilst others are still queuing outside. Discount tickets and fast-track entry means your membership fee alone could cover one night at fabric!

LABEL: By becoming a Label Member, you will get sent your CD or vinyl bundle with the freshest underground music straight to your door, every quarter, before or on release day.  All label members get digital files uploaded to their dashboard on release day so you can download the freshest tunes as it hits the stores.  

You also get 15% off everything in the fabric online store. Find your 15% discount code Under Offers on your dashboard. Use it in the fabric store against any of your purchases.

Does my membership start straight away?

When do you charge me?

CLUB: Club Membership costs just £10 month. Your first payment is taken on the day you sign up (which you can recoup off your first visit to fabric) and then one is processed on the 1st of every month after that.  

LABEL: We process payment four times a year, starting with the day you sign up to the Label Membership and then three more times over the year. We aim to release our ‘fabric presents’ mixes once a quarter, ideally in the months you pay your subscription fee: March – May – September – November. All the planning in the world can still go awry when it comes to music manufacturing so please be patient if you haven’t received your release in the month of payment. We will never take a payment and not deliver tunes!  

How do I update my address/email/name/card details?

It’s easy! Log into your membership account via the fabric London webpage or app and straight away you’ll see all your info under Settings. Update your card info under ‘Payment Card’.

As a Club Member I can shimmy straight into any night at fabric, yeah?

You'll always get your priority queuing and discount benefits at any Friday, Saturday or Sunday night. But do note that fabricfirst membership isn't an automatic guarantee of entry. If you arrive late at a sold-out night and we've already reached capacity, we are not able to let any more people in, including members. In such instances we would then operate a one-in, one-out policy - but having fabricfirst priority entry gives you the advantage to join the fact-track queue.

During the week, we sometimes host events put on by external promoters. We'll always fight your corner and try and secure fabricfirst benefits with the organisers but occasionally it might not be possible to do so.  

Any event listed on RA that has discount fabricfirst entry, will have a members-only ticket listed and available to purchase online. Your fabricfirst discount also applies to external events produced by fabric (“fabric presents”) and other fabric curated events such as EXODUS Festival.  

Can my mate can come in with me with the Club deal?

That’s right! You can bring one guest into the priority queue with you per event. They will pay full price on the door and you’ll pay the fabricfirst price.

Is there a minimum period of membership?

CLUB: A minimum term of 3 months exists for Club Members.  

LABEL: To give you a feel of what it’s like to be part of the fabricfirst family we’d like you to stay with us for at least four releases – i.e.. one year.

Can I have a Club AND Label subscription?

Yes! This is called our Combo Membership. And it means you can get the best of both worlds. Benefit from club door perks AND have music go straight to your dashboard or through your letter box. To add another tier log into your dash and click on ‘Buy A New Package’ to add any number of levels to your account.

CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Benefits

Club membership begins on the day you sign up and the first subscription payment of £10 is processed. You can choose to buy dedicated tickets ahead of the show on our ticket partnerResident Advisor’s site or turn up at the door and get £10 off the stated door entry price.Door entry price may fluctuate depending on the show, artists, and time of night. Guests pay full price unless they have a membership, are students, or have a ticket to the event.

Your membership qualifies you for reduced entry and advanced tickets at most shows at fabric. Exceptions might occur when events are run by an outside promoter.

Members need to prove they have a paid-up subscription by showing their active status at the club door on their smartphone.

Members receive a fabricfirst card on joining the club which will be posted to the address supplied. Ensure all posting details are included otherwise the card may not find its way to you.

Term Length Of Subscription

Minimum term of a Club subscription is three payments (one payment on joining, and then automatic payments on the same date in the following months). Memberships get automatically suspended should the member's monthly payment fail for any reason – and you’ll get a notification of this. The member will not receive any of their benefits whilst their account is suspended. Memberships can easily be brought out of suspension at any time by logging into the website and entering up-to-date billing details.

LABEL Benefits

All Label members will get access to digital copies of four releases over the period of a year, plus the ability to download mixes from fabric’s back catalogue. Those signed up to eitherCD or vinyl tiers will receive a physical copy of that quarter’s fabric presents release shipped to them with the aim of it arriving on or before its release date. In addition to the four key releases there will be fabric singles and Houndstooth (our sister label) material uploaded to dashboards where we can. Payment is processed when you first join (and you’ll receive that quarter’s release) – and then again in the next month of the cycle of releases in February,May, September and November. We aim to release each fabric presents mix in the month of payment but due to the fickle nature of the music manufacturing industry currently it could slip by a month; we will keep everyone updated by our monthly newsletter.


Digital Subscribers
For each of the four fabric presents releases, subscribers receive a bundle of the individual tracks from the mix and a single track continuous mix in mp3 format uploaded to their dashboards on the official release day. If members prefer WAV formats please emailmusic@fabriclondon.com on or after release day for these files.

CD Subscribers
CD members get four CDs annually, plus a zipped upload of the mix and individual tracks toyour dashboard on the day of release.

Vinyl Subscribers

Vinyl subscribers get four copies of double vinyl annually, plus a zipped upload of the mixand individual tracks to your dashboard on the day of release.

Term Length Of Subscription

Memberships get automatically suspended should the member's monthly payment fail for any reason – and you’ll get a notification of this. The member will not receive any of their benefits whilst their account is suspended. Memberships can easily be brought out of suspension at any time by logging into the website and Repaying the relevant tier; members will be expected to do this if the minimum term has not been met.

Returns and replacements

fabric will replace malfunctioning or faulty products. fabric will refund or replace products purchased in error. Such products must be returned unopened, in their original packaging. Refunds or replacements will not be offered for unwanted items.

If a CD or vinyl does not arrive within one month of the general release date (for example if it goes missing in the post), fabric will resend a replacement, provided that the member's delivery address is up to date on their account at the original time of sending.

fabric will send a replacement copy a maximum of one time per title.

If both available digital downloads per release title fail fabric will at its own discretion decide whether to allow further downloads for that title to be made available. Members are required to contact fabric at music@fabriclondon.com should this occur.

Replacements and refunds will not be issued if the enquiry is made more than 6 months after the purchase or payment.

The address for returns is RETURNS, 12 Greenhill Rents, London EC1M 6BN, UnitedKingdom. Include a covering letter with your name, address, clearly stating the reason for return. If this is not included, fabric may be unable to replace or refund your product.

Cancellation Of Memberships

Cancellation is done by emailing music@fabriclondon.com with ‘cancel’ as the heading.Please wait for your personal confirmation of this (up 14 working days but often sooner)before your subscription is officially ended. The minimum term for a Label membership is one year (4 payments) and three months (3 payments) for a Club membership. Use the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of any newsletters to stop them being sent you. The fabricfirst membership is non-transferable. fabric reserves the right to confiscate the membership card if anyone other than the member is found using it.

How do I swap music formats or add/delete membership tiers to my subscription?

To change your membership format we’ll need to cancel your original one so you can add the package of your desire to your account. To do this head to your dash and find Add Packages on the dropdown menu at your email address.

Whether you are re-joining after a period of absence or if your account has been suspended due to a payment failure, the way to get your membership back on track is the same.

  • Log in to your account through the website or app using the email address and password you originally signed up with. Reset your password if necessary.  
  • Check your account details are up to date, before adding bank card info under Payment Method.  
  • head to Add Packages on the dropdown menu at your email address, choosing the Club or Label tier you wish to subscribe to.
How do I change my membership bundle from one type to another, say from CD to vinyl?
To change your membership type go to your account on the fabricfirst dashboard select membership type to choose the bundle you want. Or drop us a line and we'll change it for you - music@fabriclondon.com.
What kind of music will I get in the Label quarterly bundle?
We've always had a relationship between the artists who play in the club and those who we ask to compile a record for us. While this will still be the case, our new fabric presents series has opened up the chance to take in a range of electronic acts and sounds.
Can I buy a fabric membership for my friend?

Yes, you can. Make sure you are not logged into your own account, and you will also need another email address for their account. Complete the membership signup form. Choose a password for them - they can change this when they log into their account. Their address will go in the shipping section and your address in the billing section.

What are the current postage and packing (P&P) rates for my CD or vinyl membership?

These are our super-low charges for packing and posting your quarterly physical bundle to you:

I want to cancel my membership.

Go ahead, break our hearts... we won't take it personally. Drop us an email titled 'cancel' to music@fabriclondon.com. If you give us a few days’ notice we'll try to cancel your membership before the next payment is due (1st of the month) provided you have been a Club member for at least 3 months or a Label member for a minimum of 4 payments (a full year). You’ll receive a personal reply confirming the closing of your subscription.
