YOUR DATA AT FABRIC


What information fabric is collected on you and lawful basis for processing


When you enter fabric, we scan your identification details into our computer based identification entry system (“the System”). We do this in order to comply with condition 10 of our Premises Licence, issued under the Licensing Act 2003. Any information in your identification documents will therefore be stored on our System. Full details of this condition and our Premises Licence can be obtained by contacting either fabric at info@fabriclondon.com or Islington Council by searching the Premises Licence register at www.islington.gov.uk. There are instances where you can opt in to marketing communication. These instances include purchasing a ticket, using the free WiFi and purchases in our online store. You can opt out at any time.

What are fabric using the data for?

The only instances of the data being used as part of an investigation into any incident, respond to any request from Police or to respond to any subject access request from the data subject, once identified. For the instances of opting in to marketing data, this will be our mailing list to receive communications about upcoming events. You can opt-out at any time Your data will not be released to any other third party.

Your rights.

A condition of entering fabric is to have your data scanned. We are not permitted to grant entry to anyone who does not wish to have their data processed and stored on our system under our Premises Licence. Fabric shall at all times process your personal data in accordance with its obligations under applicable data protection laws including GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Right to object and withdrawing consent, right to erasure.

Due to our obligations to process and store data in order to comply with our Premises Licence it is not possible for us to process any withdrawal of consent or right to erasure request. We must store the information of any customers, staff and visitors who enter fabric during any Core Club Night.

What to do if you remain dissatisfied.

If you remain dissatisfied by fabric’s response to your complaint you have the right to refer the case to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) who will investigate your complaint and will give an independent ruling on the issues you have raised.
