Audio: Stream Deetron's new album, Music Over Matter

Having continually circled the electronica scene for the best part of his existence, Deetron has been the mastermind behind some of the slickest club cuts of the past decade. His production technique and audio wizardry has radiated a number of dance-floor anthems, effortlessly illustrating his distinctive fusion of deep house and pulsing techno. Calling into the studio once again, Deetron has spent the past year or so working on the shape of his eagerly awaited new album, one that comes a hefty eight years after his debut LP. Described as a “prismatic mosaic of vocal textures and expertly crafted grooves”, Music Over Matter, is a dance-fuelled record, with every track easily commanding memories of club spaces long forgotten. From seductive vocals to euphoric vibes, the album sees a slew of collaborations with the likes of Seth Troxler, Ben Westbeech and Cooly G all lending their production touches to the 13-track project. Hosting his official album launch party in Room One on Saturday 23rd November alongside Craig Richards and Mr G, we thought it only right to give you a little taster of what’s in store.
