In the Bag: Slam reveal their latest weapons

We’re prepping for a techno attack in EC1 this Saturday, with Slam, Daria Kolosova and Nastia taking control of the space. It’s an extra special one for the Soma Quality duo, as they step up to perform a rare 4-hour opening set. We were curious to hear how they’ll be getting things going, so ahead of touching down in London, they revealed some of the weapons that haven’t left their bags in recent weeks.

Parallx – Red Clouds [R Label]

A fantastic drone-led track with a vocal reminiscent of Siouxsie & The Banshees – we always get asked what this is.

Uun – The Descending Passage [Soma Quality]

A new Detroit-based signing for our label – a syncopated monster that pile-drives its way into your skull.

The Mover – Calculations [Planet Phuture]

Bassline, bassline… that bassline.

Beroshima – Interplugreaction (Somewhen Mix) [Dystopian]

Both the original and this remix are totally haunting – on Rødhåd's fantastic Dystopian label.

Modig – Latissimus (Blawan Remix) [Soma Quality]

A stunning interpretation by Blawan – a quasi nu-acidic journey.

Nematic – Duality [Micro.Fon]

Just won’t leave our cases – just builds and builds.

Pfirter – A Different Reality (Slam Remix) [MindTrip]

From our good Argentinian friend’s great album – the Slam slant.
