This September, London’s iconic St. Paul’s Cathedral will open up for a contemporary live music performance featuring GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer, RY X with The London Contemporary Orchestra, supported by Houndstooth artist Hinako Omori. This special, one-off event is presented by fabric and our new event series "Love Hertz".
RY X, hailed for his exceptional musicality and critically acclaimed releases, will grace the stage at St. Paul's Cathedral for this unique show. Set to bring his signature blend of electronic and soulful sounds, RY X promises an unforgettable performance and one-off event that will push sonic boundaries, as the grand cathedral setting gets reimagined through contemporary electronic music. RY X will be joined by one of the UK's most innovative and respected ensembles, The London Contemporary Orchestra for this special event and supported by Houndstooth artist Hinako Omori.
A very limited amount of seated tickets will be available for purchase for this intimate and atmosphere gig situated within the grandeur of the cathedral's iconic architecture.

About RY X
GRAMMY-nominated artist and producer RY X is known for his ongoing pursuit of connection. Connection to nature, spirit, the human experience, expression and vulnerability are at the core of his artistic practice and he brings this ethos into each and every performance. Having toured and performed around the world, RY X’s collaborations include projects with orchestras and establishments like LA Philharmonic and London Philharmonic. He also has extensive experience producing and writing for international acts like Drake, Diplo, Black Coffee, and John Legend.
Other ties to the RY X bow include having been invited to share his work at the Nobel Peace Prize and Notre Dame, scoring for the Gothenburg Opera, and directing visual work for over 10 years. His work remains multifaceted, deeply emotional, and continually based on a reflection of what it ultimately means to be human, in its widest range of somatic and emotional experiences. RY engages all forms of artistic expression with his heart at the fore. This September he will share his music in the historical monument of St. Paul’s Cathedral for this collective, special and one-off event.
About Hinako Omori
Houndstooth signed Hinako Omori is a composer who thinks deeply about music and provides generously to all listeners. Born in Yokohama, Japan, she moved to the UK when she was three years old and lives in London. She began her musical path learning classical piano, later training as a sound engineer, and has since moved into working with analog synths. Previous to releasing her own solo material she toured with and played on records by a raft of critically acclaimed musicians, including Kae Tempest, Georgia, and EOB, among many others, but it is her work in sound engineering that provides the bedrock of skills that manifest her vision on releases like ‘a journey’ on fabric London sister-label Houndstooth Records.
