Ahead of the next instalment of RAM Records’ powerhouse residency we put the call into their HQ to see which artist was currently floating their metaphorical boat and at that moment the word came back: Mind Vortex. They’re a production duo made up of Stefan Anfield and Laurie Carroll who both hail form the East Coast of England and have been working together since their school days. They first featured on Nightlife 5 with their tracks ‘Onslaught’ and ‘Now It’s Time’ gaining support from DJs like Zane Lowe, MistaJa,. Bailey and DJ Hype. The summer inflected vocal led ‘Now It’s Time’ featured on the A-side of the duo’s first release on RAM earlier this year and looks set to be the start of a healthy working relationship. Ahead of the 8th June, when RAM return to Farringdon, we’re hosting an exclusive promo mix from the Mind Vortex guys, one that introduces them and their sound properly, with their work set amongst their contemporaries neatly.
